Nicholas Church, Ichnia

Stone Nicholas Church in Ichnya erected by diocesan typical design in modern style. At one time the church was quite good and respected, today it is an architectural monument that can attend not only believe but also tourists attracted mysterious spirit of ancient buildings.

St. Nicholas Church was built in 1879. In the Soviet period the church is almost completely lost its importance, the wall was dismantled and looted and destroyed property. While the bell tower survived remained, as it was then used as a fire station watchtower.

During the years of independent Ukraine bell tower was dedicated, and it has become important church began to serve parishioners. Since 2007, the church-bell belongs to the UOC-KP. Today the building called Nicholas Church.
