Museum Oleksy Dovbusha Ivano-Frankivsk

Museum Oleksy Dovbush in the Carpathian was founded in 1995, 2 years later in 1997 he received the status of a state. The museum`s collection is built entirely on the basis of private collections of local historian, professor and honored worker of Ukraine Volodymyr Grabovetskaya. He became the director of the museum. Researcher   spent more than 45 years of   life in search of materials related to Oleksa Dovbush.

The museum has two rooms, in which the entire exhibition is divided into several thematic exhibitions. At the beginning of the first hall is a stand dedicated to the life and work of Vladimir Grabovetskaya. The second stand - the struggle of the peasants with the Polish gentry. The exhibition features paintings of the population struggle led by Seeds Vysocany and Ivan Grabowski, Flies, and the battle of Rohatyn in 1490.

The second room is entirely devoted to   Development opryshkovskogo movement in the Carpathian. Here are collected unique materials, documents, maps, charts, art and sculptural illustration that gives a complete picture of the preconditions for the development of movement, headed by Olexa Dovbush. Pearl collection -   decorative panels by artist V. Masyutkin-Cherkessia "Olexa Dovbush on Montenegro". Greater attention should be paid opryshkov things, weapons with which they went into battle. Also a large collection of literary works, narrating the events of the troubled times of struggle of the peasants for their independence.
