Aleshkovsky Sich, Tsyurupinsk
Aleshkovsky Sich Cossacks was formed on the territory of present Tsuryupinskih land by the river Conca in 1711 after it was destroyed by Russian troops two units Zaporizhzhya Sich. At that time the area was known as the natural boundary Alyosha, which was the name of the Cossack.
During its existence the land of Cossacks greatly enhanced. Sich became an independent political center, to maintain relations with the closest states (the Crimean Khanate, the Commonwealth, the Swedish kingdom).
Today is a landmark on the original footprint area Sich (0.5 hectares). Here a memorial sign - a bell hanging on solid rods, which are arranged on a pedestal of stone. The monument is made of wood and decorated with carvings. Bell includes the coat of arms of Ukraine and the inscription "Aleshkovsky Sich", and above it are marked the date of the existence of the administrative center of the Zaporozhye Cossacks bottom: 1711-1728 gg.
