Church of St. Basil Yablunytsya

On the outskirts of the village Yablunytsya is the church of St. Basil, built in 1992. It refers to the young churches, so it makes good condition.

Despite his age, the temple   built in compliance with all the classical traditions of folk architecture of the Carpathians. The church has a cruciform plan with two tiers. Over the building of the church tower four domes. To the right of the main entrance is a small bunk chapel.

Original decoration of interior decoration of the temple is a large iconostasis made ​​by folk artists in 1995. Specifically for this work from the neighboring Delyatyn were invited two craftsmen. Writing icons engaged artist M. Kuzyuk. Wall paintings inside the church are striking in their beauty and eccentricity. They were made in 2000 and invited artists.

The church stands on an open meadow not far from the forest, so it is easy to approach from all sides. Today, the church works in his usual way and open for parishioners and visitors.
