National Museum of History and after the liberation struggle. Shukhevych

People`s History Museum, and the name of the liberation struggle of Roman Shukhevych - a unique collection of priceless artifacts, books, manuscripts, archival documents and other utensils, gathered in a cozy village Tishkovtsy near the Carpathian region. The museum was opened in 2004. Its creators have combined in the halls of the exhibition all the most important historical facts about the development of the region, household items, and the most significant details of the legendary fighting liberation armies led by Roman Shukhevych. Dynasty outstanding commander devoted a separate exhibition, it refers to the founder of the renowned names, the grandfather of the hero, who in 1840 was a priest in Tishkovtsah.

The rest of the exposition is divided into ten different themes of the first historical mention of the region before the events of recent times with a detailed exhibition of photos and documents. Particular attention should be paid to the stands with stories about World War II, the list of victims of cruel totalitarian regime in 1939, as well as have the opportunity to get acquainted with the achievements of modern meeting Ukrainian diaspora from around the globe under the name "Our colors - all over the world." Nearby is the Museum of Basil Kasiyan to be interesting to visit the museum after the exhibition.
