Pharmacy Museum in Lutsk

Part of the history of the old town is a pharmacy museum in Lutsk. She is in the house of the late 18th century, which is located on Market Square , in the historical and cultural reserve "Old Lutsk" .

From the history of the building known that it suffered a fire and then was repaired analytical chemist Adam and his brother Peter Zlotski, who founded the pharmacy. In her cellars was a laboratory and stored medicines. And in the building housed a shopping center and office holder. Interestingly, in this pharmacy drugs produced for the famous poetess Lesya Ukrainka.

Currently pharmacy not only serves as a museum: it is made ​​dermatological medications. And under the exposure given two rooms - a shopping center and the principal`s office. Here preserved ancient interior: cabinets, which 150 years, bottles, mortar and other tools used in the manufacture of drugs. There is an old cash register. The pharmacy also kept rare books, the herbarium of medicinal plants in 1942.
