Saint Mikhail Church, Vyshka

Adjacent to the ski resort Krasiya fit a small building - the church of the Archangel Michael.

Unfortunately, the names of folk architects who worked on the temple, remained unknown. But their offspring raised in the 16-17th centuries, is still pleasing to the eye of tourists from all over Ukraine.

The originality of the church of the Archangel Michael - unique architecture. In the century before all the village churches were built in the same style boykovskom. But every rule there are exceptions. Temple St. Michael - one of them. Its architecture is naturally intertwined 2 flow - boykovskoe and Lemko. Masterly combination of elements of different styles appreciate the fans of history and architecture.

For centuries, the Church of Archangel Michael was the only stronghold of faith for many parishioners sat. With the advent of the Soviet authorities, the temple was covered with an iron dome. Over 60 years, the church was destroyed and rot.

The Soviet Union took place. With them gone, and the decline of the church. After Ukraine gained independence, the construction was again returned to the community. At his own expense the villagers managed to restore the original appearance of the building.

Today, the church of the Archangel Michael appears before the tourists in all its glory. Silver domes perfectly in harmony with the three hundred wood. The interior decoration inspired by authentic decor of the 18th century.

The gate of the church are open to parishioners and connoisseurs.
