St. Michael`s Church, Will Vysotskaya
A few kilometers from Zholkva in Lviv there is a village with a beautiful name - Will Vysotskaya. His business card and pride is a one-story trehsrubnaya Church of St. Michael the Archangel. It looks like the popular prints. Although some visitors believe that noble tree species tainted yellow paint - so changed the look of the Church in our time. This is one of the few remaining wooden churches in Ukraine, the building dates back to the 16th century.
Going into the church, note the iconostasis, preserved from the 17th century. Some of the icons for the artist I. He wrote Rutkovich, Master Ukrainian Baroque.
Preserved in its original form authentic wooden belfry, it dates from the younger churches and 18th century.
