Uzhgorod children`s railway
Uzhgorod children`s railway was built specifically to explore children with railway specialties. It is located in the center of Uzhgorod along the river Oh. This place was built for two years and opened in 1947 on the Railroad Day. The length of railway track was 1.1 km and included two stations that originally were called "Park" and "Stalin." During Soviet times, "Stalin" was renamed "Pioneer", and in the 90s "Pioneer" was the "Youth".
Uzhgorod children`s railway to date does not work and above it hangs the threat of total elimination. Part of the railroad tracks was dismantled in 2010. But even now in the territory can be seen locomotive and several wagons.
