St. Michael`s Church, Voronezh
Michael Church in Voronezh - a masterpiece of Ukrainian baroque of the late 18th century. The church was built by the architect I. Grigorovich-Barsky. Church architecture combines the features of the Orthodox and Catholic churches of the late Baroque with overhead lines and a plurality of columns. Recognized as an ornament of the church are considered to be stylized images of the apostles-high reliefs on the walls of the church. West facade of the building - a traditional bell tower. Painted Church engaged the famous painter N. Murashko.
The temple is divided into several levels: the top is dedicated to the Archangel Gabriel and the Archangel Michael, the bottom - Barbara and St. Nicholas. Today the temple pleases visitors scenic iconostasis reconstructed elements of domes and bell towers with overhead lines, small windows, arches and columns on the sides.
