Church of St. Nicholas Cossack, Putyvl
In Putivle is the church of St. Nicholas Cossack, built 1735-1737 years on the money of local Ukrainian Cossacks. The architectural style of the temple - Ukrainian Baroque with added elements of classicism, as evidenced by the unusual shape of the silhouette of the building and the two towers. The church has two names: Stone Nicholas and Nicholas Church Velikoretskaya. Initially, the church was a one-story, and only in 1770, to its western side was attached tiered bell tower. Not long ago, the church was completed extensive restoration work.
