Mansion Filippov, Zhitomir

Mansion Filippov   Located on the outskirts of the city   Zhitomir .   The house was built in 1886.   Baroque building   occupies two floors and has a view of the elegant mansion. Originally it belonged to a local lawyer and notary Filippov.

First, the house was made of wood, but in 1903 the owner had a major reconstruction, with the result that it has acquired a truly elegant look. To date, the room are three state institutions.

In 1918-1920, the building was heavily looted. To this day it is best to keep it front part. Visually, the structure can be divided into three parts - the center, and two wings.   The house looks like an elegant and at the same time imposing edifice. This effect is ensured by the presence of arched windows in white combined with the massive columns at the main entrance.

Being in Zhitomir, do not forget to visit this magnificent building. Filippov mansion, built in the late 19th century, deserves the attention of travelers.
