Andriyashevsko-Gudimovsky hydrological reserve

Andriyashevsko-Gudimovsky hydrological reserve - reserve and conservation area with total area of 1509 hectares. It is located in the Sumy region in the backwaters of the river Cheeks.
The reserve is a vast array of natural plant environment of the area is covered with dense thickets of reeds and Typha angustifolia, which reaches a height of 3 meters. Among the surface of the water and reeds is a low island, which grows deciduous forest, which is composed of oak, maple and linden. This lime gives the island a golden color, blossoming in June. Besides flora in the territory Andriyashevsko-Gudimovskogo reserve was found 141 species of animal vertebrates. This diversity suggests a rich fauna of the island and nature reserve as a whole.
