Orzhivskyh Manor in New Chortoryia
About the village Chertoroy that in Zhytomyr, heard in the 15th century, but it became popular in the 19th century thanks to the famous manor Orzhevskih. At the same time the village was renamed New Chertoroy .
Manor was built Orzhevskih nobles owners of the village - Karol Jozef Pushinskimi and in the early 19th century. The construction is made in the Baroque style, but was later rebuilt in the pseudo-style. The central entrance gates are proud of the complex. Now the estate is Agricultural College, which was founded in 1920 and originally functioned as an agricultural college. A steam mill , which appeared on the site of the estate in 1870, is currently used as a hydroelectric power plant.
