Church of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Jesus Christ in Ruzhin

The history of the church

Recently the church in Ruzhin celebrated 200 years since its built back in 1815 by Count Kalinowski. With the advent of Soviet power for the house began difficult time: the building was demolished dome and arranged inside prison. Later in premises located workshops.

Since 1999, the dilapidated Church of the Sacred Body and Blood of Jesus Christ Ruzhin took custody of the Order of the Paulist Fathers. Thanks to donations from benefactors, including family assistance Zhebrivskyi, the temple restored and re-consecrated in 2008. In this spiritual restoration and architectural monuments have invested hundreds of thousand.
