Monument Bender and Balaganov, Berdyansk

In 2002, on the eve of the 175th anniversary of the city, in Berdyansk, near Central Park was a monument to the characters of the famous novel by Ilya Ilf and Yevgeny Petrov "Golden Calf" Ostap Bender and Shura Balaganov. The enterprising and clever heroes works sit on chairs wizard Gambs openwork shade under the trees. The history of the monument and Bender Balaganov

The initiative to establish a good trend of funny monuments in the city belonged to the then-mayor Valery Baranov. The author and the performer was a local artist Nikolai Mironenko.
