The monument to the defenders of Dnepropetrovsk is a large memorial song dedicated to soldiers who died during the defense of the city. It was opened in the presence of combatants, veterans and relatives of those killed in 1975. A wave of new monuments, memorials and statues was timed to the 30th anniversary of the Great Victory.
