Museum of the History of Aviation and Cosmonautics

In 1971, in the village of Voronovitsa opened Museum of the History of Aviation and Astronautics titled "From Gagarin to Mozhaisk." A year later, the museum was awarded the title of national, and in the late `80s he became a state. Since 1998 it got its present name.
Today, one of the best exhibitions in Ukraine and worldwide there are more than 1,300 exhibits. Although some distance from the city, museum visits every year about 2000 tourists. Here are sketches of the first aircraft and it is possible to trace the history of ballooning, from kite to modern spacecraft.
Guides will gladly share their knowledge about the works of Alexander Mozhaiskogo and Ukrainian aircraft designer who worked in the early 20th century. Walking through the museum, you should see an exposition dedicated to the World War II aircraft and that has brought us victory.
Building Air and Space Museum
The museum is located in an unusually beautiful three-storey building. The estate was built in the classic style with a central hall. The main entrance of the building is decorated with a colonnade and a high porch on the second floor which is arranged terrace.
The palace was built in the 70s of the 18th century Polish magnate family Grokholsky. After 100 years, the estate passed into the hands of Captain N. Mozhaiskogo. Some time later, he died, leaving his brother Alexander Palace. The future discoverer of the airspace in the estate began to conduct their experiments.
