Monument to medical, Poltava

A little-known monument to soldiers-doctors in Poltava located at the psychiatric hospital. The sculpture erected in honor of victims of brave soldiers and doctors during the Second World War.

On Monument medical

The composition consists of two figures: the dark warrior-hero and safely minded girl physician that looks like eyes who need her help. The figures are framed by granite semicircles that simultaneously the pedestal and cloth, as if waving in the wind. On the pedestal fixed start and end Ukraine`s participation in the Second World War: 1941-1945 years.

The majestic monument standing as a symbol of blessed memory and a deep respect for the soldiers doctors who gave their lives for the peace of heaven for their descendants.

Getting there

Monument medical situated on the territory of the Regional Psychiatric Hospital named Maltsev, located on the street Medical. Almost opposite, across the highway N12, located state historical and cultural reserve "Field of Poltava Battle" . Go to the hospital taxi № 14. station is also nearby Swedish tomb from which to hospital can take a walk.
