Studio Theatre Arabesque

The idea of founding the theater-studio "Arabesque" came up with a group of students of the theater department of the Kharkov Institute of Arts. The idea was brought to reality in 1993.
Due to lack of rehearsal premises for performances, young theatergoers appealed to the leadership of the Kharkiv Literary Museum , which at that time was already a territory that unites the many creative people of the city.
The history of "Arabesque" Theatre
Until 1997, the theater-studio team is rarely showing a wider audience the fruits of their labors are often limited to only the organization of training related to the development of acting skills. However, this time the team has got a repertoire of four performances: "The path to Zagorny commune" - 1993 "Best of the sun nowhere" - 1994, "Tales Kharkov" - 1995 and "Arabesque" - 1996.
Active work on creating tour repertoire began in the same 1997. The fruit of creativity was the production of "Aeneid" by the product Kotsyubinsky. By 2000, the group "Arabesque" was to tour and got one more performance of "Favorite Poems" - 1999.
Interesting Facts
In parallel with the process of touring, the troupe is invited to participate in many creative projects. The first memorable appearance of the team can be attributed to 1999 in the framework of the international festival of postmodern art "Apocalypse begins here."
Another significant event was the premiere of the total Ukrainian-Polish Belarusians-documentary play "Chernobyl" in 2006 in the Polish city of Poznan.
The performances of "Arabesque"
Who is the most successful creations of the theater-studio "Arabesque" can be regarded as posing "RADIOSHANSON eight stories about Yuri Soyfer" - 2007 and "Red Elvis" - 2010.
One of the last performances of the team is a "Decalogue: local World War II" - 2012.
At the moment, the theater-studio "Arabesque" actively toured in many cities of Ukraine, sometimes appearing on the stage of the Polish and Belarusian cities.
