Greek Catholic Church, Germakovka

Greek Catholic Church in Hermakivtsi is a wonderful gem of picturesque land. The temple is situated in the center of the village. Attracts tourists with its mixed architectural solution.

The temple was built in 1907. Quite a long period of former Roman Catholic church was in a dilapidated condition. The ruins attracted lovers of old rough texture of the walls.

In Soviet times, the farm building was used as a warehouse. 2009 building was transferred to the local Greek Catholic community, which later restored it.

Although tsybulyastyy golden dome more typical UPC, from the time of the restoration of the church belongs to the Greek Catholics.

How to get there

Greek Catholic Church is at the center of settlement. On the one hand is Hermakivky T2002 track that goes to Chertkov through the village Borschiv and Kolyndyany. Nearby is a railway way stop - station "Hermakivka."
