Museum of the Battle Batozhskoy
In the summer of 1652 was a struggle of the Union Army of the Crimean Khanate and the Zaporozhye Cossacks led by Bohdan Khmelnytsky and the army of the Commonwealth. The battle took place on the territory of modern Vinnitsa region near the village Chetvertinovkoy Trostyanetsky area. Title Battle Mountain gave Batog under which held bloody battles. Khmelnitsky victory in this battle changed the course of history. Hetman managed to strengthen its position and permanently kept in fear of their enemies.
In 2015, the opening of the Museum Batozhskoy battle in the village Chetvertinovkoy. The museum was opened a little earlier - in 1990 and was called the Museum of History Chetvertinovkoy. In four rooms of the museum you can not only learn about Batozhskoy battle, but also to trace the history Chetvertinovkoy, see the life of the peasants of the 19th century. In addition, the museum provides information about the famine and the Second World War.
The museum is located on Gagarin Street, 13. Closed: Tuesday and Thursday.
