Bohdan Khmelnytsky Statue, Zbarazh

Monument to Bogdan Khmelnitsky in Zbarazh established in 1954, architect - V. Skochelyas, sculptor - Yakov Chaika.

Hetman of Zaporizhia Army, known commander stands on two-meter pedestal. Depicted Bogdan Khmelnitsky in the clothes in which we used to see him in the portraits in school textbooks on history of Ukraine.

In his left hand the commander holds a scroll in which, many believe, is the army of the enemy plan of arrangement and layout of the Cossack troops. Monument to Bogdan Khmelnitsky made of bronze.
