Ostrich Farm Agro-Soyuz

Ostrich farm "Agro-Soyuz" is located in the village of the May that in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Today it is one of the largest farms of its kind in Ukraine and throughout Europe.

Enterprise "Agro-Soyuz" was organized in Maisky in 1996. Here was built a large dairy farm, built new large granaries, built its own analytical center. First ostrich farm was brought up as a hobby. They brought a total of 12 individuals, and it happened in 2000.

Already in 2003 the company started commercial breeding birds. At the same time, South Africa has brought 372 individuals. Later, in 2004, the organization registers its own trademark "Firebird", which carries out commercial trade ostrich meat in Ukraine. It is worth noting that in the first year of profit ranged from 200 to 400%.

Today, the farm has the status of breeding plant breeding black African ostriches. Now the company has about two thousand. Separately, live birds that feed off. They butchered, processed and packaged by following all norms of international standards and technologies with the help of special equipment and in compliance with all hygiene standards. The most valuable and sought-after is the ostrich meat and skin, then go to the eggs, oil and feathers. The latter is used for the manufacture of jewelry and decor, and fat - in cosmetology.

The complex consists of an ostrich farm incubator, farm products and farm for rearing young birds. Tours are available on both the farm and in the mini-zoo, located on the same grounds. In addition, you can buy products directly on the farm.
