Stanislawow fortress in Ivano-Frankivsk is an example of fortifications mid-17th century. A fragment of the defensive bastion situated in the central part of the city.

The history of the fortress begins in 1662, that`s when she was laid Kiev governor, Polish magnate and founder of the Ivano-Frankivsk Andrzej Potocki. The author of the project was made ​​by F.
