The most important event in the life settlement is his birthday.
Day of Cherkasy usually celebrated on the first Sunday of June, and 2015 is no exception.
The city administration is preparing for a big celebration on June 7 with mass entertainment.
Cherkassy Cossacks were founded in 1286, as a fortress in the south of Kyiv Rus and many years diligently performed its defensive functions. In early June, the city will celebrate 729 years.
The program of the holiday:

The main part of the celebration will be held in the Rose Valley , a favorite place of citizens. The solemn procession will be held on the Castle downhill to the shore Dnieper.
