Roses Valley Park

Roses Valley Park

"Valley of Roses" in Cherkasy is a small park near the city center on the banks of the Dnieper. There are several piece mini-lakes with fountains inside, mostly low trees and neatly trimmed bushes. Large trees are the same band from the Dnieper.

Particularly beautiful view of the "Valley of Roses" comes off with the adjacent Castle Hill - Hill of the memorial complex of Fame, where because of the trees of the park can be seen waters of the Dnieper.

Along the narrow, winding alleys strewn with pebbles, on both sides there are large comfortable benches that serve as a place of rest. It is worth noting that during the celebration of various festivals "Valley of Roses" is always in the middle of the action.

The special features of the park include the huge bronze sundial "Bird" in diameter fifteen meters installed here in 2012. As a clockwise serves a large crane, but instead of numbers - twelve chairs as an allusion to the legendary novel by Ilf and Petrov.
