Sorochintsy Fair 2015, Velyki Sorochyntsi
In the period from 18 to 23 August in Ukraine will Sorochintsy Fair - a traditional Ukrainian feast of folk culture and creativity. It will take are still in the village of Great Sorochintsy Poltava region.
Tradition national fairs has its back to the 40`s 19th century, when the event was just beginning to gain its momentum.
Even more popular colorful fair has brought the story of a native of Poltava lands, many famous and beloved writer Nikolai Gogol, which was published in 1831.
Here you will find:
- fur clothing;
- all kinds of jewelry and luxury goods;
- agricultural machinery;
- food;
- dishes and more.
At the fair in Mhar participate every year hundreds of companies and organizations from Ukraine and from other countries.
Entertainment Fair:
- music and dance groups;
- theater companies;
- folk performers.
The annual number of visitors to the Fair in Poltava than one million people.
Inauguration of the Fair 2015 will be held August 18, at 11:00.
