Theatre Festival "Melpomene of Tavria", Kherson, Kherson
At 17 times the audience gathered at the International Theatre Festival "Melpomene of Tavria".
The festival was named after the Greek muse Melpomene performing arts. The event will be held from 23 to 30 May 2015 in Kherson .
The event is populyaryzuvannya theater and the desire to show the world that Ukraine is, was and will be the only country. The festival will come to theaters all over the country.
Guests will enjoy the spectacle, masterfully composed of different creative directions. Actors will demonstrate their skills, directors flashes imagination and talent.
The festival will be attended by theater groups from:
- Georgia;
- Ukraine;
- Hungary;
- Portugal.
Ukraine will present theaters of Odessa , Kherson, Lviv and other cities.
Eight days the city will be captured extravaganza theatrical diversity. Actors will fight for victory in a theatrical actions, and evaluate them will be specially invited jury will include famous teatroznavtsi and critics around the world.
For the first time "Melpomene of Tavria" was held in 1999 in the two cities - Kherson and Mykolaiv . Later, we stopped at one city. In 2003 the festival won the International title.
During the existence of the competition it was attended by over 100 theaters from 15 countries. It has been shown more than 230 performances.
