Festival of colors «Holiwood» 2015, Kharkov, Kharkiv
On August 29, 2015 in Kharkiv will start the festival of colors «Holiwood», and end the morning of the last day of summer.
The aim of the festival is to unite Ukrainian. The organizers seek to demonstrate to national values and traditions and make healthy lifestyle more popular.
History celebration
Tradition has appeared in India 2,000 years ago and spread around the world. And if the festival "Rainbow" in India to celebrate the beginning of spring, then Ukraine conducted by late summer. In this way, guests and city residents tend to remember the summer and continue at least in the memories.
In the holiday home on the appointed day all the inhabitants of the country facing the street, armed with paint as a powder or spray. And all passers decorated in bright cheerful colors.
The name of the festival was the abundance of bright colors and joyful atmosphere that prevails to this day. Holiday helping people become freer and kinder. For the festival there is no division as people age or other basis.
