Exhibition Irina Soboleva-Ginzburg and Andrei Sobolev, Lviv, L'viv

September 4th at 18.00 opens joint exhibition of the artistic couple, Irina Soboleva Veniaminovna-Ginzburg and Andrei Nikolaevich Sobolev.

Names Veniaminovna Irina and Andrei Nikolaevich Sobolev enjoy well-deserved recognition, and their works are well known to the audience, but perhaps only now their first joint exhibition can more clearly see the true value of their work, to determine the place of artists in Ukrainian art.

Biography

In 1950 after the Moscow Art Institute. Surikov, they there come to the city. In Moscow, their teachers and mentors were classical art: A. Shevchenko, M. Rodionov, P. Pavlinov, P. Zakharov ...

Lviv became rip up their destiny: pedagogical work in the College of Applied Arts. Jn. Trush, and later at the Institute of Applied and Decorative as assistant professor, where more than two decades Sobolev carefully helped grow the future masters of ceramics and glass artist; daily creative work in the studio with the creative joy of victories and achievements, and inevitable doubt and bitterness of defeat, began to sense and justification for their lives.

Artistic honesty and sincerity in regard to himself and creativity - the human qualities that the arts are emerging aesthetic category, a genuine humility that comes not from self-abasement, and of knowing the greatness of art and its role in society, non-admission vain pursuit of easy success and transient fashion, unconditional dedication and his vocation - that has always been characteristic Sobolev, giving their work force and appeal.
