Art project "Carpet. Modern Ukrainian artists ", Lviv, L'viv

In late June, in the largest exhibition space officially opens nationwide art project "Carpet. Modern Ukrainian artists "in Lviv. The exhibition will last till the end of July.
One distinct feature of the project - his wandering nature. From the very beginning he intended "to travel". The first exhibition was held in one of the villages of the Carpathians, and now the project is sent to Lviv, Kyiv and Kharkiv. As noted by A. Soloviev spivkurator project in each city it will expand, change, complemented by new works of its members and new authors.
Venue: Palace of Arts , Lviv.
Date: will be held from 26 June to 24 July 2016.

What will happen to the art project
The idea of the project is combining traditional art with modern, updating ethnic culture and provide additional meaning actual folk art.
Just woven carpet, cloth is woven on a different character and content of which are always two sides of contemporary art shows various components of reality:
- ideological and aesthetic;
- positive and negative;
- the front and back sides.
The project will bring together 20 authors, each of whom will present their particular vision of traditional art in the modern world:
- Stepan Ryabchenko;
- Nazar Bilyk;
- Miroslav Vajda;
- Artem Volokitin;
- Alex Zolotarev;
- Roman Minin;
- Daria Koltsov;
- Anton den;
- Tatyana Malinovskaya;
- Roman Mikhailov and others.
The exhibition will feature the following areas:
- painting;
- sculpture;
- installation;
- video art.
The project started its activities since the beginning of April in Tatariv, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
