"India. Portraits "
11 work time - from 2008 to 2013.
The idea works and stories emerged after an emergency trip to India and developed from 2009 to 2013. We used the most characteristic images of Indian provinces copyright rethinking ethnic ornaments, fragments of landscapes and expressive face to transfer deepest universe of this country and these people. For this series of works was selected oval shape that symbolizes the shape of the eye as a symbol of world view.
"1000 and 1 night"
12 works, the work on the series - from 2010 to 2014.
Arabian tales inspired me, traveling to Arab countries, their air, art, music. These studies revealed the richness and diversity of the Arab world, domes, colors, genies, dervishes, fragrance lamps and icon-lamps, the sky over the desert, smoke hookah ... where history on every corner intersects with the present. In this series of works using a circle and an oval, which, in my opinion, the most successfully captures my idea.
"Dolls"
20 works, work on the series began in 2013 and continues today.
First dolls were to be part of a great work of puppeteer, but had an idea for Christmas` Gifts of the Magi "were added after the other works and" Dolls "became a separate independent series. Images diverse dolls, close and interesting for me, there warriors guard and collector, angel-demon image, and many others. In Puppet flat body, face and hands volume, the design used bronze, silver, stones, pieces of jewelry, coins and other decorative details.
Frame. Women. Retro. Portrait.
Since 2005, I have been there the idea of this series of works. First I used to work his collection of old postcards and photographs, in addition, there were beautiful vintage frame. Thus, in itself, was thought to give them new life by inserting portraits in frames in my typical fashion, giving them color, texture and image. This is the most sophisticated series, now it has about 30 portraits.
