Leski village quite young, it refers to the Chilia district of Odessa region. In the 70s of the last century, after the construction of the Danube-Dniester irrigation system, many builders prefer to remain in these places. State to build a small Finnish houses, many families moved here. Now the village is home to 1,800 people. The main occupation of the villagers - growing strawberries. In season, the number of collected strawberries in the village is about 300 tons, although the villagers believe that this figure is an underestimate.
The warm climate, lots of sun, water availability, and of course hard-working people - this is probably the main factors for different crops of strawberries. Everything from small to large, are working in their gardens. Almost all vacant land is planted with this berry.

Villagers proudly declare that their strawberries environmentally friendly and is suitable for use kids.
During the harvest come here a large number of vehicles from all over Ukraine to buy berries, strawberries because of Lesok most sweet and juicy.
