Museum of vintage cars "Phaeton"

NGO "Auto-Moto Club" Phaeton "opened in 2008 in Kiev unique museum of vintage cars. Consequently, a city which has always been famous for its avtobudivelnoyu sector, the list has given its exclusivity and the only museum in Ukraine historic cars. The exhibition "Phaeton" has more than a hundred vehicles last century, 30-80 years of production, which was collected by collectors all over Ukraine, starting from 2004.

Museum area is 3,000 square meters. At every step you unique pieces of bicycles, motorcycles and cars. Despite advanced age, each exhibits sparkling cleanliness in innovation. Further still, almost all are vehicles - serviceable. It seems that they just came from production.

In fact, by car to collect all parts of Ukraine for a long time. Some bought, others found in landfills, and then restored. Thus, at the Museum "Phaeton" can be seen GAZ M1 trophy "Opel" 1937 GAZ-AA, better known popularly as "lorry" famous "Katyusha" ZIS-June 1941 issue. There is also a popular car "humpbacked Zaporozhets," which was the first car that is manufactured in the former Soviet Union and so on.

Among the exhibits are also known truck ZIS-May 1939 issue, which, incidentally, can be seen not only in "Phaeton", but also on the pedestal of the monument to soldiers-drivers at the entrance to Zaporozhye. Finally, about a dozen unique "time machine" as they have called tourists are still under restoration and will soon be presented for inspection car lovers. In addition, the museum you can see interesting examples of artillery and small arms. There are exhibits and old motorcycles. The museum exhibition impresses visitors delighted for hours studying the history of the automobile in the territory of the Soviet Union.
