Museum of Military Glory, Chernigov
In 2015, the school-lyceum by promoting the Armed Forces soldiers and combatants was established Museum of Military Glory in Chernihiv , who dedicated to soldiers-liberators and fighters ATO city. The event was the inauguration of the museum was attended by students, teaching staff of the Lyceum and the military garrison, war veterans, combatants and graduates.
The exposition of the Museum of Military Glory
The museum exhibition illuminates the pages of history, the creation of which participants were former students of educational institutions. There are bright events:
- World War II;
- the war in Afghanistan;
- anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
There are many places allocated for the presentation of modern Ukrainian army. Much of the exhibition dedicated to the current events in the years 2014-2015 in Donbass. In the war against terrorists and Russian invaders have participated and continue to serve many former students of the Lyceum. Among them, some soldiers infantry battalion:
- Eugene Rudenok;
- Paul Slavynsky;
- Vladimir Mironenko;
- Albert stalks;
- Vitaly Truhan and others.
Separately paid attention to the way of life and combat company commander 13 battalion captain Alexei Konovalov, who in June 2014 died heroically in the Luhansk region.
Myzhan Igor, who is the Chairman of the Company`s defense in Chernihiv region, served more than a year in the area ATO as a deputy battalion commander of the arms, the opening day shared the story of their colleagues and the creation of the battalion.
Getting there
Museum of Military Glory located in Chernihiv school-lyceum № 15, located on the street 50 th anniversary of Komsomol. Along comes Mira, where stop many local taxis. Two of them are coming to the Lyceum - "Borisenko Street" and "School number 11".
