The Cherkasy Regional Art Museum

The museum exhibition is divided into 2 parts:

In general, the museum has more than 6,000 exhibits.
- The first half of the exhibition is designed to acquaint visitors with folk art medium Dnieper - embroidery, ornaments, local paintings on dishes of cells pottery Cherkassy region (Holovkivka, Pastoral, Hromivka, foulbrood).

History of Art Museum
The museum was opened in the early years of independence in 1992 in the former building of the city committee of the Communist Party. He started as a branch establishment of Cherkasy regional museum, but in 1994 received the right to a separate museum institutions. The collection were works from private collections Bobrynkyh graphs, Cantacuzino-Speranskii Lopukhins and Belokopytov. The collection gradually expanded through auctions and direct purchasing works of famous Ukrainian artists.
