The Maksym Ryl's'kyi Literary Memorial Museum

Goloseevo Scenic Area has a large number of attractive places for tourists. Literary Museum of Maxim Rila situated there.

In the past, the museum building was home to a family of Rila, this is where the writer lived the last 11 years of his life. For construction of houses writer chose Goloseevo instead elite Concha Zaspa now. Rila built the house on his own project. Today, surrounded by new buildings, modest house does not particularly impress you do not. Its value is that it seemed "canned" inside the whole epoch in the life of the poet.

The atmosphere of the house helps visitors understand who really was a man, whose portraits they have seen hundreds of times in books on literature. The fact that the museum opened a few years after the death of Rila - in 1968 - has kept the environment in which the poet lived. There are a large number of manuscripts of Rila, his library, lots of household items, including hunting equipment. Maksym Rylsky was an avid fisherman and hunter, loved to travel, was engaged in collecting. The doors of the museum open to the public every day except Friday. From 10:00 to 17:00 you can get acquainted with the exposition.
