The Youth of Dnipro Sculpture

"Youth of the Dnieper" was created in 1982. The main idea of the author of the sculpture - Peter Evlampievich Kutsenko, was to portray the noble figures of Ukrainian girls. The inspiration was the Ukrainian folk holiday of Ivan Kupala, when girls are traditionally allowed to water wreaths. Sculpture is a boat with Ukrainian girls in shirts and wreaths. Composition is by the river Dnepr, Quay Street Lenin.
Also on the Dnieper embankment can find many other interesting sights, such as Valentine`s Bench or fountain "White Swan" .
