The Sculpture "Students"

In Kiev, there is a wide variety of historical monuments and landmarks. But here you can also see the original modern sculptures that are sometimes found in the most unexpected places.

One of these sculptures is a bronze statue depicting two students. Young girl and a guy lying on the grass in front of the textbook and are easy conversation. To create this work of sculptor inspired picture first-year students, who for many years was considered the hallmark of the University "Krok". Now a symbol of the university is embodied in the bronze statue, which was placed on the territory of the institution. By the way, among the students, "Kroc" there was a tradition to hold on to a bronze book before exams. It is believed that after this ritual, good grades are guaranteed.

The author of the sculpture was Vladimir Schoor. This monument is located near the metro station Beresteis`ka.
