Nicholas Cathedral
St. Nicholas Cathedral in Dneprodzerzhinsk is one of the main attractions of the city. The unique architecture of the temple in the old Russian style stands out against the background of modern buildings. The cathedral was built in 1894 at the expense of workers Dnieper Metallurgical Plant, designed by architect L. Borodnitskogo. During the Soviet era the temple was located museum. In 1988 Nicholas Cathedral was restored and reopened for worship.
The current St. Nicholas Cathedral of the Diocese of Krivoy Rog is one of the most valuable monuments of religious architecture in the region and is under state protection.
