Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, Drohobych
Approximately 70 kilometers from Lviv city located Drogobic. This historic and beautiful city famous for production of salt, lots of architectural and natural monuments.
One of the highlights is Drohobycha Exaltation Church. It was founded in the 16th century. Temple rebuilt, so not survived to the present day in its original form. However, to date, this wooden church is one of the best examples of Galician folk architecture. Especially valuable are the ancient paintings with images of saints that adorn the walls of the gallery of the temple, the entrance to the church portals in exteriors.
Near the church is a wooden bell tower of the 17th century. High three-tiered building with a tent roof.
Exaltation of the Cross church is located on the territory of the fire station, on the outskirts of Zvarych. Visit her everybody can, at any time.
