St Anna Church in Boryslav

St. Anne`s Church is located in Borislav. This Greek-Catholic Church was built in 1900. Two years later, it was consecrated as the Roman Catholic Church of St. Barbara.

St. Anne`s Church has a special charm. This is a work of art. It echoes the neo-Gothic style with neo-romanticism. For construction used natural stone and brick. The temple is very bright and full of sunshine, windows are decorated with figural stained glass. The image of St. Barbara is located near the main altar. The Church is a pilgrim center. Father Roman, who is also rector of the church, gathered up the relics of the saints around the world. Today, more than five hundred relics kept in the church of St. Anne. On holidays it is possible to look at the reliquary. It 54 relics associated with the life of Jesus Christ.

People come for healing. It is believed that the relics eliminate the disease. Amazing cases of recovery have repeatedly been recorded. Church is rightly considered a treasure trove of beauty, grace and faith.
