Climbing Wall, Kyiv

Climbing wall called the lower the stone wall of the ancient fortification towers. It was built in 1856, it was a large-scale structure of several tiers around a large moat. Fortifications still preserved several rows of loopholes, abandoned internal moves and the whole system of underground facilities.

In 1949, on the site of the tower decided to create a Green Theatre (now climbing wall), since the curved shape of the walls allows you to play excellent acoustics. Green theater attaches great number of overgrown bushes and trees, covered the building for decades.

Nowadays, on the territory of the Green Theatre is a modern nightclub, and the lower part of the tower - a great place for beginners climbers: suitable height, weight of internal recesses and wildlife around will be thrilled with any athlete.
