Church of the Intercession, Kiev

Intercession Church - one of the most beautiful buildings of modern hem. Was established in the 18th century. Chief architect - I. In different periods of the premises of the Intercession Church was used in different ways. Ever since the revolution and in 1946 there was a branch of the Kiev regional archive, then the church was returned to the church. In 1950 there was started overhaul, which also altered the original appearance of the temple. Since 1969, the room was located Intercession Church Ukrainian Society for the Protection of Monuments of History and Culture, and the basic premises of the church became warehouses. Then there was opened manufacturing facility. In 1970, based on archival photo of the church, again conducted restoration work, the church was returned to its original historical appearance.
