Church of the Mother of God "assistant in childbirth"

Icon "Assistant Midwife" appeared in Serpukhov in Russia. It happened in 1993, acquired the status of the miraculous icon.

In 2002, on the ground floor of one of the maternity hospitals of Kiev in a specially rented premises was opened temple. In the same year the temple was the first prayer. Opened with the blessing of Metropolitan Vladimir of Kiev. Since 2006, the church held regular worship. In 2012, the church was decorated with a dome and a cross, and the next year on the territory of Kiev maternity hospital №1 opened the wooden church, decorated with a dome. In honor of the holiday of Easter church was consecrated. The main shrine of the temple - icons from Mount Athos.

Powered temple daily from 08:30 to 17:00, parishioners can pray, light a candle. On Fridays and Saturdays in the church held a solemn service. Temple of Mother of God "Assistant Midwife" - is a unique temple in Ukraine.
