Jesuit College
City Sambor has an ancient history. Its cozy streets with small colorful houses reminiscent of the Austro-Hungarian town, which still feel the breath of medieval Europe. Here erected a huge number of churches and churches that have experienced several generations.
A lot of great people, played an important role in the history of Ukraine, came from Sambora. One such well-known personalities became Hetman Sahaidachny, who studied at the local Jesuit Collegium at the monastery.
It is known that the Jesuit school was built in 1680. Later, as a result of reconstruction by the architect Karshnitskogo, building acquired elements of the Baroque style. Now the former Jesuit College is Samborski School of Culture.
