Museum of the History of Medicine Galician. M. Panchishina

In 1910, at the initiative of Lviv doctors was established professional organization of doctors of Galicia, bearing the name of the Ukrainian medical society in Lviv . Their goal was to create and develop Ukrainian medical institutions, they were engaged in the organization of health services, and helped create the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Lviv. Unfortunately, in 1939 the activities of this organization was discontinued and resumed only in 1990. Around the same time, the idea of ​​creating the Museum of the History of Medicine.

As the room where the museum is located, was selected two-storey house in which lived a famous Ukrainian doctor Marjan Panchishin. On the occasion of the museum on the facade of the building was placed a plaque. In the Museum of the History of Medicine Galician is more than 5 thousand. Exhibits: a variety of tools, books and much more.

With the exposition is available every day from 10:00 to 18:00, except weekends.
