Church of St. Nicholas, Mazepians
Church of St. Nicholas in Mazepians - is part of a unique memorial complex dedicated to the famous Ukrainian Hetman Ivan Mazepa. Memorial consists of several episodes, historically associated with the legendary events of the region, where he was born and lived as a young Mazepa. There is a house museum, watchtower, a memorial mound, Hetman bust and more.
St. Nicholas Church was built in 2007. The architecture of the temple is fully consistent with the style of the memorial complex, whose main purpose is to recreate the era of the 17th century, namely his youth the future hero of Mazepa. Careful building of the temple built of wooden bars with two baths. Visually, the construction is divided into three floors covered with bright green roof.
