Trinity Church, Kagarlyk

Holy Trinity Church in Kagarlyk is unique, because it is a modern church, but the history of its construction is quite rich.   Construction of a new church started in 1998 on the site of the destroyed during the Soviet era the old church.

The first church in Kagarlyk was founded in 1800 by landowner Dmitri Prokopovich Troschinsky.   It was he who in 1793 Catherine II gave the land for the construction of their own estates.   Renowned writer Vasily Kapnist was rector of the church. Especially for Trinity Church was painted icon of "The Last Supper", which belonged to the pen of the famous artist Borovykovs`kogo.

Create a new cathedral is conducted on donations from local businesses, residents and his administration.   In 2002, the church held its first worship service.
